About PAIR

The PAIR Communication Network has been active since 1996 and provides a forum for ideas, support, and discussions for Patient Advocates (PAs) who focus on health research and emerging medical advances.

Our efforts add relevance so patient issues are addressed from the beginning to help achieve better results for patients dealing with risk, diagnosis, treatment, healthcare, and supportive care.

Our Vision

Patient Advocacy in Research (PAIR) centers the voices of those most impacted by cancer, patients, caregivers, and communities, as partners in research. By working with PAGs, CHWs, and CBOs, and leveraging digital platforms, PAIR advances more equitable, community-driven research that strengthens trust, expands participation, and generates insights that better reflect real-world needs.

Our Team

PAIR is powered by a multidisciplinary group spanning research, community engagement, and digital strategy. Our team works alongside advocacy networks and local organizations to design and implement initiatives that are grounded in real experiences, operationally sound, and built to translate insights into action.
