Welcome! At OHC, we are committed to addressing health disparities and advancing health equity. Through advocacy, research, and collaboration, we aim to create an inclusive environment where everyone has the opportunity to share, learn, and grow together!
A key part of our mission is to provide a safe and supportive space for the LGBTQ+ community. Our HEART for the LGBTQ+ Community initiative is designed to empower individuals by focusing on:

Why this is important
The rights, dignity, and safety of LGBTQ+ people are under threat. This year alone, dozens of states have advanced laws restricting gender-affirming care, limiting transgender people’s access to public spaces, and censoring discussion of sexual orientation and gender identity in schools. These attacks continue a long history of discrimination and stigma that LGBTQ+ people have faced for generations.
That’s why this work is so urgent. Waiting isn’t an option. OHC's mission is to stand with the LGBTQ+ community in this pivotal moment. The HEART for the LGBTQ+ Community initiative was created to do just that: providing a safe digital space to amplify voices, protect wellbeing, and nurture resilience.

We take extensive measures to secure data, respect consent, and ensure that participation in our programs or spaces is always handled with care and discretion. We believe that everyone deserves to engage, learn, and thrive in an affirming environment, free from worry about exposure or misuse of their personal information.
Unlike traditional social media platforms, OHCEngage + and the CHWC space is community driven. Therefore, members have an expectation that:
